PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of lines, the number of terminals necessary for a video processing IC and the number of ADCs in a semiconductor integrated circuit for TV signal processing. SOLUTION: The semiconductor integrated circuit for TV signal processing includes a PIPIC1 for generating a child screen of 1/9 or less size, and a video processing IC 7 for processing a parent screen by receiving the child screen. In addition, the semiconductor integrated circuit includes a multiplexer 11 and a control circuit 5 for changing the output of the PIPIC1 to a serial signal for signal unit of RGB signal or YUV signal in one level period of the TV signal, and an SRAM 12 and a demultiplexer 13 for returning the serial signal to a parallel signal by the video processing IC 7.
