PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display system which blocks unauthorized copying of video. SOLUTION: A personal computer PC 1 has a PC body 10 and a display 20, which receives screen data for displaying video of each frame sent out from the body 10 and displays the video on a screen. An output means 12 outputs the screen data, and a switching means 13 receives display signals (R.G.B) and synchronizing signals (HS/VS) of the screen data outputted from the output means 12 and switches the terminal sequence of a connector 12 from a specified terminal sequence to a esignated one. An informing means 14 enciphers the terminal sequence of the connector 11 to be switched and informs the display 20 thereof, before sending the display signals and the synchronizing the signals. A deciphering means 23 deciphers the cipher, a restoring means 22 restores the display signals and the synchronization signals inputted from a connector 21 to signals in the specified terminal sequence, and a display means 24 displays video on the screen according to the screen data.
