DISTORTION COMPENSATING CIRCUIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more effectively reduce intermodulation distortion caused in an amplifier or the like without giving effect on characteristics of a desired wave frequency band by adjusting the amplitude and phase of the intermodulation distortion. SOLUTION: The distortion compensating circuit is provided with impedance conversion circuits (different frequency band impedance conversion circuits 404a, 404b) that are located at least either of a pre-stage and a post-stage of a distortion generating circuit 403, pass the desired wave frequency band and change the impedance at a frequency band equivalent to a difference between the frequencies of two received desired waves. Thus, the amplitude and phase characteristics of the intermodulation distortion caused in the distortion compensating circuit can be adjusted without giving effect on the characteristics of the desired frequency band. The intermodulation distortion produced in the amplifier or the like therefore can be more effectively reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
