PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas turbine combustor using a premix and prevaporization lean combustion method for preventing generation of an autoignition phenomenon in a premixer over the overall load zone of a gas turbine and supplying sufficiently vaporized fuel to a combustion chamber. SOLUTION: This gas turbine combustor supplying combustion gas to a turbine wheel in the gas turbine is provided with a substantially cylindrical combustor inner cylinder 2 forming the combustion chamber inside, a diffusion combustion burner 10 arranged on the upstream side of the combustion chamber and having a diffusion fuel nozzle 11 directly jetting fuel into the combustion chamber, the premixer 21 mixing the vaporized fuel and air together on the inside, a low-load premix fuel nozzle 23 arranged inside the premixer 21, and a prevaporization premixing combustion burner 20 having a high-load premix fuel nozzle 22, in which a fuel jetting position is positioned on the downstream side beyond the low-load premixing fuel nozzle 23 inside the premixer 21.
