PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently supply the grease between a braking surface and a contact surface in a roller brake device. SOLUTION: This brake device 13f is provided with a fixed bracket 30f, a brake drum 40, a plurality of brake shoes 41, and a brake operating part 33f. The brake drum can be integrally rotated with a hub 6a, and has a circular braking surface and an annular grease filled groove 54, which is formed in the braking surface, in the inner peripheral surface thereof. A plurality of brake shoes have a contact surface possible to be brought in contact with the braking surface of the brake drum when braking, and arranged with a space in the circumferential direction, and work the brake drum for braking. The brake operating part has an operation arm part 60, a cam member 61 to be integrally turned with the operation arm, a plurality of rollers 62 for making the contact surface pressure-contact with the braking surface with turn of the cam member, and a first spring member 53 having a projecting part 53a arranged in the grease filled groove to energize the brake shoe inward in the radial direction.
