PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll compressor which prevents excessive compressing by a small number of parts. SOLUTION: In the scroll compressor, communicating passages 24e, 24f, 24d, 24g, 34 extending from a plurality of middle compressing chambers 26A, 26B in the middle of compressing merge with each other in a midpoint (the chamber 24d) and reach a discharging port 20c. In the communicating passages, an opening/closing valve 35 to be released when the pressure of the middle compressing chambers 26A, 26B is higher than the pressure of the discharging port 20c is arranged between the merging point (the chamber 24d) and the discharging port 20c.
