PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulation container for easily opening/closing an upper lid while demonstrating anti-theft effect. SOLUTION: A milk box 11 as a heat insulation container comprises a bottomed rectangular prismatic outer container 12, a bottomed rectangular prismatic inner container 13 to be stored in the outer container 12, and an upper lid 14 to close an upper opening part of the outer container 12 in an opening/closing manner. A turning means to turnably and pivotably fitting the upper lid 14 is provided on a rear end part of the outer container 12, and a heat insulation member is provided between the outer container 12 and the inner container 13. A locking mechanism (a notched part of a guide projecting bar 23 and an engagement claw 47a of an engagement projection 47) to lock the upper opening part of the outer container 12 by the upper lid 14 in a closed condition is provided between a front end part of the outer container 12 and the upper lid 14. An unlocking member 17 to unlock the locked condition by the locking mechanism is separately provided on this milk box 11. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
