PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body panel structure for an automobile, capable of preventing a sealing agent charged into an overlapped portion between an outer panel and an inner panel from being squeezed out to the outside without reducing the charging of the sealing agent. SOLUTION: Generally, when the overlapped portion between the ends of the outer panel 2 and the inner panel 3 of a door body 1 is pressurized because of wind-tightening and jointing, the sealing agent 4 charged into the overlapped portion tends to squeeze out to the outside from a notched portion 2B for preventing wrinkles at a folded edge portion 2A of the outer panel 2. On the other hand, this vehicle body panel structure is constructed so that part of the sealing agent 4 being overflowed between the overlapped surfaces by the pressurizing may stay on a trap portion 5, thus preventing the sealing agent 4 from being squeezed out to the outside.
