PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need of the waterproof measure of components disposed at the lower part of a baking chamber and to arrange a control board at the lower part of the baking chamber. SOLUTION: In a bread making machine comprising a main body 1 having the baking chamber 7, a bread case 34, a blade member 37, a driving motor 14 and the driving power transmission mechanism 16, a water discharge route 40 from the lower part of the baking chamber 7 through the driving power transmission mechanism 16 to the outside of the main body 1 is provided. To put it concretely, the driving power transmission mechanism 16 is composed of a first pulley 19 rotatably attached to a bearing part 35 provided on a base body 17 and attachably and detachably connecting the blade member 37, a second pulley 20 connected to the output shaft of the driving motor 14, and an endless belt 21 wound around the first and second pulleys 20. The water discharge route 40 is composed of a first water discharge part 41 provided on the bottom of the baking chamber 7, a second water discharge part 42 provided on the first pulley 19 and a third water discharge part 43 provided on the bearing part 35.
