The method involves pressing or inserting contact vanes (5) that form contact regions into openings in a circuit board so that when the circuit board is mounted in a housing (4) the contact vanes protrude into plug holders of electrical connection points (2,3,16,17) in the housing. Press-in zones are formed on the ends of the contact vanes nearer the circuit board. An independent claim is also included for a servo drive with contact regions manufactured in accordance with the inventive method.
