<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collect information required for analyzing an occurrence cause of a reproduction fault when the fault occurs during reproduction. <P>SOLUTION: A reproducing device reading music information stored in a disk-like storage medium by using an optical pickup correlatively stores a content of the reproduction fault and information for analyzing the reproduction fault when the reproduction fault occurs in a non-volatile memory with the occurrence of the reproduction fault during reproduction of the disk-like storage medium as a trigger. When the reproducing device is collected from a user, information is used for analyzing the cause of reading. Information is used as data for conducting a reproducing test of the fault in the reproducing device collected based on the information when the fault occurs. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
