<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a display system suitable for a small store to transmit appropriate information to a customer and the like. <P>SOLUTION: A large wall-mount display 5 is disposed in a store. A desktop display 11 is placed on a counter 1. Suspension displays 20 and 21 are fitted to commodity racks 2 and 3. A display 25 is fitted on a T shirt that a clerk 6 wears. The customer coming to a convenience store takes out commodities from the prescribed commodity racks 2 and 3, and the clerk reads bar codes printed on the commodities by a bar code reader (reader) 15. When the bar code reader (reader) 15 reads the specified bar code, specified picture and sound are selected, are modulated by a well-known method and are radio-transmitted by a radio transmitter (oscillator means) 12.
