OPTICAL SIGNAL PROCESSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical signal processor which generates a signal with desired optical characteristics. SOLUTION: Light outputted from the front end of an optical fiber type collimator 80 is inputted to a first diffraction grating 111 formed on a first surface 110 of a transparent member 10 and is branched by wavelengths by being diffracted in the first diffraction grating 111 by diffraction angles corresponding to wavelengths. Light of each wavelength obtained by wavelength branching in the first diffraction grating 111 is propagated in the transparent member 10 and is diffracted in a second diffraction grating 121 formed on a second surface 120 of the transparent member 100 is is outputted from the transparent member 10. Light of each wavelength diffracted by the second diffraction grating 121 and outputted from the transparent member 10 is inputted to the front end of one of optical fiber type collimators 81 to 84 and then is converged and is propagated in the optical fiber.
