PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance ionic conductivity of a gel-like solid electrolyte even in a solid electrolyte battery using a composite of a separator and the gel-like solid electrolyte, enhance capacity, and prevent mixing of moisture to the gel-like solid electrolyte even when ceramic particles are dispersed in polymer resin. SOLUTION: This solid electrolyte battery contains insulator particles dispersed in the polymer resin in at least one of the gel-like solid electrolytes 17 interposed between a positive electrode 13 and the separator 15, and/or between a negative electrode 14 and the separator 15. The insulator particles are formed by conducting hydrophobic treatment and have an average particle size of 0.01-1μm, and for example, ceramic particles or silica particles are used as the insulator particles.
