PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve problems in a thermal regeneration system using water as a heating medium wherein a comparatively large thermal regeneration tank storing hot water is needed, required space and costs become large, and a pump that is a water transfer means must be continuously operated during utilization of heat. SOLUTION: The thermal regeneration system is composed so that a multiplicity of thermal regeneration balls 1 comprising sealing latent heat regeneration materials in a capsule 2 are composed so that they can move between a heat collection side and a heat radiation side via a movement path 6, heat is radiated by moving the thermal regeneration balls that have stored heat in the latent heat regeneration materials in the heat collection side to the heat radiation side, and heat is stored by moving the thermal regeneration balls that have radiated heat in the heat radiation side to the heat collection side.
