PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a multi-wholly aromatic polyamide multifilament which controls occurrence of fluff and breakage in separation and has excellent separation properties. SOLUTION: Each of a plurality of yarns composed of multi-wholly aromatic polyamide multifilaments is interlaced in 5-60 interlacements/m and provided with 0.3-4.5 wt.% of an oil agent and the yarns are joined to give the multi-wholly aromatic polyamide multifilament yarn.
