PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent element material excellent in luminescent properties, to provide an electroluminescent element using the same, and to provide a low power consumption high luminance display. SOLUTION: The electroluminescent element material is an organic compound represented by formula (1), (wherein S1and S2are each a styryl group; L1and L2are each a divalent linking group; i and j are each an integer of 0-6; and k and m are each 0 or 1).
