PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain granular ammonium sulfate for fertilizer which fully satisfies specifications such as the content of ammoniacal nitrogen and is excellent in properties such as strength and particle diameter. SOLUTION: The granular ammonium sulfate for fertilizer which contains a sulfamic acid component of≤0.2 wt.%, at least one kind of organic acid component selected from citric acid, oxalic acid and malic acid of 0.005-0.1 wt.%, and an ammonium nitrate component of 0.005-0.1 wt.% and has an average particle diameter of≥1.4 mm, an axial ratio of 0.5-2.0, and a crushing strength≥0.2 kg/particle is obtained.
