BELT MEANDERING DETECTOR OF BELT TYPE BUCKET ELEVATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt meandering detector capable of detecting meandering and one-sided travel of a belt of a belt type bucket elevator by detecting rotation of a roller provided on a side of a belt, the rotation being generated by contact of the roller with a belt side edge only when the belt meanders or performs one-sided travel. SOLUTION: This belt meandering detector 11 is constituted of the roller 12 provided so as to form a gap on the side of the belt 4, and a proximity switch 13 for detecting rotation of the roller. A detection piece 14 detected by the proximity switch 13 is fixed on a center shaft 12a of the roller 12. Meandering or one-sided travel of the belt 4 is detected by detecting rotation of the roller by the proximity switch 13, the rotation being generated by contact of the belt with the roller 12 when the belt 4 meanders or performs one-sided travel.
