PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain recording pictures of a high landing precision and a high quality by suppressing the deformation near ink delivery openings because of a load in an arrangement in which a top plate of an ink jet recording head and a heater board are joined by applying the load. SOLUTION: In the top plate which has grooves formed by an orifice plate 304 and ink passage walls 307 by one piece working, the orifice plate 304 is formed at right angles to a joining face of the top plate and the heater board, and ink delivery openings are formed to be perpendicular to an orifice plate face.
