摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base plate division device 21 reducing an influence on the base plate 11 and an effective area 16 of a base plate part 15 and capable of dividing the base plate part 15 from the base plate 11. SOLUTION: The base plate 11 is partitioned by a division line 14 and is provided with a plurality of base plate parts 15 in which the effective area 16 and a non-effective area 17 at the outside of this effective area 16 are provided. The base plate 11 is conveyed to a division position 34 by a conveying means 31. The base plate 11 is positioned at the division position 34 making the division line 14 of the base plate part 15 divided from the base plate 11 as a reference by a positioning means 35. The non-effective area 17 of the base plate 11 is retained by a retaining means 38. A slit 49 provided on a division head 45 of a division means 46 is arranged at the non-effective area 17 of the base plate part 15 divided. The base plate part 15 is divided by turning the division head 45 making the division line 14 of the base plate part 15 divided as a center. It is not contacted with the base plate 11 and the effective area 16 of the base plate part 15 at the time of division and a base point of the division is generated at the non-effective area 17.
