PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability while reducing size, and to improve power-generation output density by preventing an air from flowing backward to a fuel gas flow path and mixing even if start and stop is frequently performed or the flow rate of fuel gas or air changes.
SOLUTION: An electrolyte layer is sandwiched between a fuel electrode 2A and an air electrode to form a cell plate 2. A separator 4 is laminated on the cell plate 2 with a gap in between to form a fuel gas flow path 5 for flow of a fuel gas F between the fuel electrode 2A. A combustion heater 9 is provided to an outlet 5b of the fuel gas flow path 5 which keeps an interval between the cell plate 2 and the separator 4 and burns such fuel gas F as has not been burned while flowing the fuel gas flow path 5.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
