<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a burden of a running cost increase of a service providing side. <P>SOLUTION: A service providing device is provided with a card insertion part 61, a first processing part 6 for identifying the type of an inserted debit card and reading information of the debit card, a second processing part 7 for selecting a service and selling the service, and a display part 73 for displaying information about the providing of the selected service. The first processing part 6 has a communicating part for transmitting and receiving a debit card service to/from a system to make a payment by a debit card system. The second processing part 7 has a control part for calculating a use charge for the service providing device and respectively displaying an amount and a use charge about the providing of the selected service, and information of the total amount of them. This expands service providing by a debit card, enables a user to select service providing after receiving use charge display and provides a service meeting the user's intention in a quick and simple environment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
