PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impregnant or binder containing no formaldehyde and providing the same results as that of conventional technologies in adhesion between a rubber and a textile reinforcement. SOLUTION: The impregnant or binder comprises a mixture of resorcinol or resorcinol-formaldehyde initial condensate, rubber latex and melamine formaldehyde resin. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
