PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable information terminal unit for allowing a user to respectively separately or simultaneously photograph oneself or an object existing on the opposite side of oneself, and relatively easy in operation for photographing without enlarging the portable information terminal unit. SOLUTION: A photographing lens 9 and an imaging element 10 are arranged in a casing 2 for forming the portable information terminal unit 1. A first photographing transmission window 7 is arranged on one main surface 2a of the casing 2, and a second photographing transmission window 8 is arranged on the other main surface 2b of the casing 2, respectively. A sliding piece 11 is slidably equipped between the first photographing transmission window 7 and the second photographing transmission window 8. The sliding piece 11 is provided with a first reflecting surface 11a for reflecting a picture taken in from the first photographing transmission window 7 on the imaging element 10 and a second reflecting surface 11b for reflecting a picture taken in from the second photographing transmission window 8 on the imaging element 10.
