PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation control device for a passenger conveyor capable of saving the manpower for an operation control. SOLUTION: A passenger conveyor monitor terminal means 1 detecting an operation condition of a passenger conveyor is provided with a memory capable of storing operation schedules such as a start-stop schedule for controlling start and stop of the passenger conveyor, a speed change schedule for controlling to change the operation speed, a operating mode change schedule for controlling to switch an automatic operation and a manual operation, and an illumination schedule for controlling on and off of illumination. An operation control means 2 controls the passenger conveyor according to these operation schedules. Thereby, artificial operations needed for controlling the passenger conveyor can be reduced, and the manpower and cost can be reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
