PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism of fixing a chair seat plate which can be easily assembled by using a simple structure and perfectly separated into plastic parts and metallic parts on disassembly and disposal. SOLUTION: A round hollow 11 is formed in the lower face of a seat plate 1. At least a plurality of cut-off slits 12 are symmetrically cut into the inner circumferential edge of the round hollow 11. A lock pocket 12a is extended sidewise on the bottom part of each cut-off slit 12. On the other hand, a ring shape attaching ring 2 is placed on the upper parts of support legs A. Flange metal fittings 3 are fixed on positions corresponding to the cut-off slits 12 so that a flange part 31 can be taken outward from the attaching ring. The flange part 31 is engaged with the inside of the lock pockets 12a and fixed by twisting the flange part 31 in a state the flange part is dropped into the cut-off slits 12 to connect and fix the support legs A and the seat plate 1.
