PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner of centrifugal type with improved quality, performance, and usability at low cost. SOLUTION: A dust collection case 5 has a dust separating chamber 8 that centrifuges dust, a dust accommodating chamber 9 communicating with the dust separating chamber 8 and accommodating the dust centrifuged in the dust separating chamber 8, a first air intake part 21 communicating the dust separating chamber 8 with an electric blower 6, and a second air intake part 22 communicating the dust accommodating chamber 9 with the electric blower 6. A filter 13 covering both of the first and second air intake parts 21, 22 is provided on a downstream side of the air intake by the first and second air intake parts 21 and 22. A cleaner body can be miniaturized, its weight can be lightened, and the price can be reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
