摘要 <p>Nucleic acid (I) comprising at least 18 bases from a segment of the chemically pretreated DNA (A) of genes associated with metastasis, i.e. any of 198 sequences referred to but not reproduced or any of 20 specified genes, or their complements, is new. Nucleic acid (I) comprising at least 18 bases from a segment of the chemically pretreated DNA (A) of genes associated with metastasis, i.e. any of 198 sequences referred to but not reproduced or any of the 20 genes CD20, FN1, SDC2, ACTG1, CDH2, CDH4, CDW52, ITGAX, ITGB5, ITGB7, NEO1, PCDH1, ENPP1, RTN1, SELPLG, TM4SF2, ITGAE, SPTB and ITGB1, is new. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an oligomer (II), particularly an oligonucleotide or peptide nucleic acid, comprising at least one base sequence of at least 9 bases which hybridizes to (or is identical with) (A); (2) sets of at least two (II); (3) producing an array of (II) on a carrier; (4) arrays of (II) produced by the method of (3); (5) obtaining genetic and/or epigenetic parameters for diagnosis and/or therapy of diseases (or predisposition to them) by analysis of cytosine methylation; and (6) a kit comprising a bisulfite (disulfite or hydrogensulfite) and (II).
