A die cast mold capable of being easily made small-sized. A die cast mold (21) has a first mold (22) and a second mold (23), and a cylinder (24) formed in the second mold (23) has a bush (27) fitted therein. Further, inserted in the bush (27) is a rotation valve (29) rotated by an unillustrated driving device for adjusting the flow channel area of gate (31). Disposed on the upper end of the rotation valve (29) is a flow channel area adjusting section (30) projecting into the gate (31), in which the projection area in the direction of flow of molten metal (the flow channel direction of the gate (31)) is changed by the rotation of the rotation valve (29).
