<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize frequency of cleaning that has a danger associated with high voltage generation by eliminating a problem of decline of ion-generation ability by depositing a nitric acid crystal into a negative ion generating electrode quickly due to an electrolysis of water in the wet air and by reducing frequency of cleaning for crystal removal. <P>SOLUTION: In a humidifier, indoor dry air is sucked by a blower 10 from a suction port into an airflow channel 4, passes through a heater 14 so as to be heated, passes through a vaporization filter 15 which is wetted with water in a tank 16, and then blows out from a blow-out port 13. The humidifier includes a second airflow channel 8 that is formed from a part of casing 10c of the blower 10 so as not to pass through the vaporization filter 15, and an electrode 5 that is provided in the second airflow channel 8 and connected to a high voltage circuit 6 for generating negative ion, the second airflow channel 8 being connected to the blow-out port 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
