<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the discharge temperature of steam to the outside and to improve safety. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid heater is provided with a main body having an inner container 2 for housing liquid, a lid body 3 for closing the opening of the inner container 2 and a heating means for heating the inner container 2. On the lid body 3, an air passage 8 having an opening part 17 communicated with outside air is formed. Then, a communicating pipe 10 whose inflow port at one end is communicated with the inside of the inner container 2 and outflow port at the other end is communicated with the air passage 8 and which is arranged so as not to turn the outflow direction of the steam directly to the opening part 17 is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
