<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an oxide magnetic material which can be manufactured by calcinating at a low temperature and which shows good magnetic character in a high frequency band, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: In the oxide magnetic material such as hexagonal ferrite including Sr, a grain boundary phase exists around crystal grains, contains ≥2 wt. %, desirably ≥5 wt. %, Sr, and contains ≥10 wt. %, desirably ≥25 wt. %, at least one kind of additional element selected from Bi, V, B and Cu. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
