<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mask cover which holds a flexible breathing mask for a patient so as to be exactly fitted to the faces of the patients having various facial skeleton structures. <P>SOLUTION: The cover 20 for the flexible breathing mask for the patient comprises mainly a flexible substance and has an open bottom part 24, and the inner face shape of the cover 20 is so formed as to conform to the exterior shape of the breathing mask for the patient. In an opposing relation to the open bottom part 24 of the cover 20, an opening 4 capable of receiving a socket portion 6 of the breathing mask for the patient is placed. In the lateral portions 7 and 9 of the cover 20, openings 3a and 3b for cheeks, through which the breathing mask for the patient is seen, are placed. The shape of the cover can be changed by placing the jaw portion 8c and cheek portions 8a and 8b of the cover 20 in a deformable way by applying pressure. In the lower ends of the lateral portions 7 and 9 of the cover 20, at least one, for example, hook type hook 2, which fixes a strap for fixing the cover 20 and the breathing mask for the patient to the face of the patient, is placed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
