PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a triple eccentricity butterfly valve to feed high temperature and high pressure fluid which prevents leak of fluid through the butterfly valve outward, smoothes rotation of a valve element, and easily and securely closes a fluid passage in a valve main body. SOLUTION: Inside a cylindrical part of the valve main body containing both ends of a valve rod, a bearing, a spring, a gland packing, a lantern ring, and a gland packing are charged in this order from the inner side, and a packing presser is fixed to an outer end of it. The bearing is pressed by the spring to set one end of the bearing to get in contact with a flat surface of a valve element boss part. Lubricant is fed from the external to the lantern ring, so that contact surfaces of the bearing and the valve element to each other are lubricated by the lubricant. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
