PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium reproducing device where vibration acting to a loading tray from a top-piece panel can be reduced. SOLUTION: In the recording medium reproducing device, the loading tray in which the top-piece panel is fitted to a front wall and which stores a recording medium is arranged in such a way that it can frequently appear from a window made in a body casing. One or a plurality of engagement reception parts are formed on the front wall of the loading tray. The top-piece panel is provided with a panel where a peripheral edge abuts on the window so as to close the window and an engagement part which protrudes backward from the rear face of the panel whose tip is bent toward the inner face of the front wall of the loading tray and is slidably engaged with the engagement reception part and which energizes the front wall of the loading tray.
