PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a test disk which realizes proper simulation of a damage or stain actually left on the read surface of an optical disk. SOLUTION: This test disk Dt is an optical disk provided with a damage pattern for testing on its read surface. The damage pattern SP is inclined by a predetermined angleθto a straight line rs in the radial direction of the optical disk passing through the central part of the longitudinal direction of the damage pattern SP.
