SOLUTION: The filler for powder coating comprises a surface treated calcium carbonate having a BET specific surface area by the nitrogen adsorption method of 2-15 m<SP>2</SP>/g, and the powder coating is obtained by compounding the calcium carbonate with a thermosetting resin.
