PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin composition which is excellent in flowability and gives a molded article excellent in heat resistance, stiffness, dimensional accuracy, weld strength, etc. SOLUTION: The thermoplastic resin composition comprises (A) a thermotropic liquid crystalline resin having a melting point of 300°C or higher, (B) an amorphous wholly aromatic polyester of which the main chain has a specific structure and contains no aliphatic chain and which has dicarboxylic acid units derived from isophthalic and/or terephthalic acid and a glass transition point of 200°C or higher, and (C) if necessary a reinforcement and/or a filler.
