PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling path for a ceiling traveling vehicle capable of keeping a constant distance between rails without making the rails thick, because the conventional technique requires thickly-formed rails and joint members linking the rails for enhancing the stiffness of a traveling path in order to prevent extension of the distance between the rails caused by the weight of the vehicle suspended from the path, which could cause derailment and fall of the vehicle. SOLUTION: A traveling route 2 for the ceiling traveling vehicle comprises two rails 24L, 24R suspended from the ceiling and arranged to have a predetermined distance between them and joint members 25 for linking the undersurfaces of the two rails 24L, 24R. A plurality of the joint members 25 are arranged at predetermined intervals in the traveling direction of the traveling route 2. Fall preventing members 26 are installed between the joint members 25.
