PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To positively restrain forward movement of an occupant even if a receiving member is bent by impact load from the occupant in the case of sudden deceleration of an automobile. SOLUTION: The receiving member 20 extending in the cross direction of a seat cushion and supported at both ends is disposed at a front part in the seat cushion 1 so as to receive the hip part of the occupant sliding out forward with inertia force in the sudden deceleration, and a seat cushion frame 3 is provided with a guide plate 32 for receiving a downward-forward moving portion of the receiving member 20 to move it upward and forward when the receiving member 20 is bent by the impact load from the occupant. The forward-downward moving portion of the receiving member 20 when bent is thereby moved forward and upward by an inclined face 33 of the guide plate 32 to prevent the occupant's pelvis from slipping through the receiving member 20 to move forward.
