PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a light-colored, preferably white aluminosilicate based deodorant which has a wide deodorant spectrum, can deodorize malodors originated by various kinds of causative materials generated in a normal living environment, and is safe to the body, and in addition, can present a favorable appearance when being adopted. SOLUTION: This deodorant comprises the aluminosilicate particle the composition of which is aM<SB>2</SB>O-Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>-bSiO<SB>2</SB>-cR<SB>m</SB>Q<SB>n</SB>-dH<SB>2</SB>O. In the formula, M is one or more kinds selected from the group consisting of Na, K and H. R is one of more kinds selected from the group consisting of Na, K, Ca and Mg. Q is one or more kinds selected from the group consisting of CO<SB>3</SB>, SO<SB>4</SB>, NO<SB>3</SB>, OH and Cl. (a) satisfies 0<a≤1. (b) satisfies 1≤b≤50. (c) satisfies 0<c≤2. (d) satisfies d≥0. (m) satisfies 1≤m≤2. and (n) satisfies 1≤n≤2. The specific surface area of the aluminosilicate particle is 70 to 800 m<SP>2</SP>/g.
