<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal generating apparatus, a signal generating method, and an inspection method capable of saving a user from having to enter a desired serial signal in the case of entering the signal to an information processing apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The signal generating apparatus includes: an SCK generating section 38 for generating a clock signal s_ck on the basis of a clock signal ck and a serial signal s_sorg including a plurality of transmission modules each comprising a plurality of bit data and total data denoting the total number of a plurality of the transmission modules; an SDIN generating section 37 for generating a serial signal s_s synchronously with the clock signal s_ck on the basis of the serial signal s_sorg s and the clock signal s_ck; and an SEN generating section 36 for counting the number of the transmission modules caused in the serial signal s_sorg on the basis of the serial signal s_sorg and generating an enable signal on the basis of the result of count and the total data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
