PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treating agent for a transparent resin molded product, exhibiting excellent durability and stain-resistant properties without affecting the transparency originally possessed by the transparent resin molded product. SOLUTION: The surface treating agent for the transparent resin molded product comprises (A) a primer composition and (B) a coating composition. The primer composition (A) comprises at least a solvent-soluble type fluororesin for a coating material, an adhesion-imparting agent, and an organosilicate represented by the general formula and/or an organosilicate compound comprising a partial hydrolyzate thereof, and forms a transparent primer layer by being coated on the surface of the transparent resin molded product. The coating composition (B) comprises a hydrolyzate of the organosilicate obtained by hydrolyzing the organosilicate represented by the same general formula and/or the organosilicate compound comprising the partial hydrolyzate in the presence of a hydrolysis catalyst.
