PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability of a spectral diagnosis. SOLUTION: In a magnetic resonance diagnostic apparatus which collects magnetic resonance signals after impressing a high-frequency magnetic field to a subject placed within the static magnetic field and observes a spectrum based on the magnetic resonance signals, a spectral peak is detected from the spectrum, a compound is discriminated based on the chemical shift values of the spectral peak, and the spectrum is displayed together with the appellation of the compound.
