PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the problem that power generation efficiency is low since electric energy obtained by piezoelectric power generation is based principally on the piezoelectric effect by the strain right on an impact and electric energy generated thereafter in the attenuating vibration is not effectively used. SOLUTION: With a fixing component for a rectangular piezoelectric element, the piezoelectric element is supported in a box-shaped case by a projection part so arranged that the case and piezoelectric element comes into contact with each other only at a node of vibration and thus vibration generated by an input given to the piezoelectric element is maintained for a longer time with a small loss, thereby taking an electric output generated by the piezoelectric element out more efficiently.
