PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a person who operates a transmitter to recognize the display state of a display unit. SOLUTION: A transmitter A is provided with a signal processing part 1, switches 2a and 2b for presence and vacancy constituted of depression switches, and a radio transmitting part 3 for transmitting a wireless signal. Operation buttons 8a and 8b for presence and vacancy for operating the switches 2a and 2b for presence and vacancy are arranged on the front face of an h housing 10 of the transmitter A so as to be freely operable. When the operation button 8a for presence is operated, the occupancy state of the seat is set as presence display in a display unit B, and when the operation button 8b for vacancy is operated, the occupancy state of the seat is set as vacancy display in the display unit B.
