PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generating device with a casing containing an engine, a generator having a cooling fan and a cooling air duct for guiding exhaust air from the cooling fan to an oil pan for the engine, improving the cooling efficiency of an engine oil by improving the construction of the cooling air duct for more efficiently guiding the exhaust air from the cooling fan to the oil pan. SOLUTION: The cooling air duct 3 has guide members 31, 31 (32, 32) for regulating the direction of exhaust air from the cooling fan 50 of the generator 5. The guide members 31, 31 are arranged in the direction of a rotating shaft 50a of the cooling fan 50. Otherwise, the guide members 32, 32 are angled to the direction of the rotating shaft 50a of the cooling fan 50 in a horizontal plane and arranged along the direction of the exhaust air from the cooling fan 50.
