PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure removal of accretion while maintaining the environment by making wear-resistant an abutting member which removes accretion clinging to a casing. SOLUTION: The accretion removal device 15 for removing accretion to the casing 2 includes a hollowed-out retaining member 20 securely positioned on the surface of the ground while enabling the casing 2 to vertically pass through it from a through hole 21a provided in its upper wall 21; a movable support 25 assembled into the retaining member 20 while spaced apart from the periphery of the casing 2; and an abutting member 30 secured to the movable support 25 at its rear end and opposed to the periphery of the casing at its front end. The movable support 25 and the abutting member 30 are rotatable within the retaining member 20 as the casing 2 rotates and moves up and down, and the accretion to the casing 2 can be removed by the front end of the abutting member 30.
