PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal rust removal treatment apparatus for a steel pipe structure which can widely be applied to an internal investigation stage for a steel pipe structure, an internal rust removal treatment stage based on the investigated result and an internal coating treatment stage after the rust removal, and can easily be operated from the outside in equipment wherein the inner face of the steel pipe structure is subjected to rust prevention treatment. SOLUTION: In the steel pipe structure 100, the corrosive condition of the inner face of a steel pipe member A is investigated from a part C capable of opening, and the detected rust removal region is subjected to rust removal and coating treatment. An internal investigation apparatus E for the steel pipe structure is inserted from the part C capable of opening. The apparatus E is moved while holding the apparatus E inside the member, and the inner face of the member is investigated with cameras 7 and 8. When a rust removal part J is detected, the position and size thereof is measured. Next, a rust prevention/coating treatment apparatus F is inserted into the detected rust removal part and is held inside the member, and the rust removal part is confirmed with a camera 24. The apparatus F is applied to the rust removal part, and rust removal is performed, and the coating condition is confirmed with the camera 24. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
